NATHAN SMART
Solicitor
Nathan completed both a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 2019 and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP) in 2020 at the University of Adelaide.
During his studies there, Nathan volunteered as a student adviser at the Magistrates Court Legal Advice Service (MCLAS) in Adelaide and clerked at a reputable South Australian firm.
In November 2020, Nathan was admitted and enrolled as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia. Further, Nathan's name has been entered on the High Court of Australia’s Register of Practitioners.
In September 2021, Nathan joined Cifuentes Lawyers as a solicitor where he practises primarily in the areas of family, migration, and criminal law.
Nathan holds a keen interest in these practice areas, particularly family law, and is currently completing a Master of Applied Law (Family Law) at the College of Law.

CHRISTIAN CIFUENTES
Principal Lawyer
Christian is admitted to practice as barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia and in the High Court of Australia. Christian is an engaging and highly effective lawyer committed to achieving the best possible outcome for his clients through vigorous, pragmatic and strategic legal work. Christian is strongly focused on negotiated outcomes, when possible, to avoid costly and protracted legal proceedings. Prior to establishing Cifuentes Lawyers in 2015, Christian worked at the Legal Services Commission of South Australia and as a Family Mediator with the Australian Relationship Centre.
Christian's academic qualifications include a Bachelor of International Studies and a Bachelor of Law and Legal Practice from Flinders University, and a Master of International Law completed with the Australian National University. Christian speaks Spanish fluently and provides legal services in this language if needed.
